What information the ASai apps (Bill Swiper, Spendr, Rent Assistance) and the website asaiteam.com collect, why, and what rights you have.

Bill SwiperSpendrRent Assistance

1. Who we are

The ASai apps are developed by an independent developer based in Israel (“we”). We are the controller of the personal data described here, except tenants’ data in Rent Assistance (section 5). Contact: kansio.uusi@gmail.com. We do not show ads and do not sell your data.

2. Website and cookies

When you visit asaiteam.com, our server processes technical data (IP address, browser, requested page, time) to deliver the pages and protect the site. Server logs are deleted after a short period.

Cookies

• Necessary: your language and cookie choices are kept in your browser. Nothing else is needed for the site to work.
• Analytics, only with your consent: we use Yandex Metrica (YANDEX LLC, Russia) to count visits, see where visitors come from and which buttons they press. Metrica sets its own cookies (for example _ym_uid, kept up to 1 year) and receives your IP address, device and browser data, the pages you view and the page you came from; it may record how you interact with a page (Webvisor). We see only aggregated statistics.

Metrica loads only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the site or by deleting cookies in your browser. Download pages of our apps on other domains use Metrica in the same way.

3. Bill Swiper

Works without an account.

• Bill photo or its text is sent for recognition (Google Gemini API) and discarded after the result is returned.
• Anonymous device ID, usage counter and Pro status are stored on our backend to apply the free limit (5 scans) and Pro.
• Diagnostics (crash reports and usage statistics) never include bill content. If you allow notifications, a notification token is stored.
• On your device only: guest names, settings and photos you save to your gallery.

Delete: uninstall the app; to delete the server record, email us the ID from Settings → About → My ID.

4. Spendr

Works without an account and never connects to your bank.

• Your expenses are stored only on your phone. We never receive them.
• Backups are encrypted on your device with a recovery code only you see and saved where you choose. We never receive them.
• Diagnostics (crash reports and usage statistics) never include expense data. You can turn them off in the app’s Menu.

Delete: delete entries in the app or uninstall it.

5. Rent Assistance

Requires an account. Your account and all your records are stored on servers in the Russian Federation.

• Account: email and name; the password is stored only as a hash.
• Records you enter: properties, tenants, contracts, meters, payments, photos and files.
• AI recognition: a contract or meter photo is processed by Yandex AI Studio (Russia) without your account details and is not stored afterwards. The free plan includes 3 recognitions.
• Telegram bot (optional): if a tenant connects to the bot themselves, their Telegram username, chat ID and messages; messages are deleted after 15 days.
• Diagnostics and notifications: crash reports, usage statistics and a notification token; they never include the content of your records.

Tenants’ data. For the data of your tenants you are the operator (controller) under Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” and need a lawful basis for it (a lease, consent or legitimate interest). We process it only on your instructions (Article 6(3) of Law 152-FZ): we store it, sync it between your devices and delete it on your command. If a tenant contacts us, we forward the request to you.

Delete: Settings → Security → Delete account, or email us. All your data, including tenants’ data and files, is erased within 30 days.

6. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help run the apps, under data-processing terms:

7. Legal bases and transfers

We process data to provide the features you use (contract), to keep the apps secure and enforce free limits (legitimate interests), with your consent where the law requires it (website analytics cookies, optional diagnostics), and to meet legal obligations. Our providers operate in several countries; for data from the EU and UK we use adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Rent Assistance records are stored in Russia.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, Israeli law, Law 152-FZ, California law), you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. We do not sell or share personal information. Most data can be changed or deleted in the apps; for the rest, email kansio.uusi@gmail.com. We answer within the legal deadline (10 working days under Law 152-FZ). You may also complain to your data protection authority.

9. Children, security, changes

Bill Swiper and Spendr are for people aged 16+, Rent Assistance for 18+; we do not knowingly collect children’s data. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to its owner; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires. We may update this policy; we will change the date above and announce material changes in advance (for Rent Assistance, at least 30 days before they take effect).
